LMI business website · Technology management: Rise On Media Group Inc.
Last updated: October 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes the collection, use, disclosure and protection of personal information in connection with the Laundry Market Intelligence website, inquiries, applications and related communications. LMI LAUNDRY MARKET INTELLIGENCE INC. (“LMI,” “we,” “us” or “our”) is an existing, fully incorporated Illinois corporation and the independent business responsible for its laundromat education and market-intelligence operations, subject to its actual customer and commercial agreements. Laundry Market Intelligence is the name used for those educational and market-intelligence operations. Rise On Media Group Inc. (“ROM”) is a separate company providing or administering website development, digital-media services, automation, GHL/CRM infrastructure and technical management for LMI. This technology-management relationship does not establish ROM ownership of LMI, a legal parent relationship or ROM as the seller of LMI educational products. LMI and ROM retain separate corporate identities. References to information handling below describe the relevant business and service activities; this policy does not assert an executed intercompany agreement or a contractual allocation of data-controller or data-processor responsibilities between LMI and ROM.

The education business and website are being prepared for launch. LMI’s merchant-account ownership, merchant-of-record identity and live payment-processing readiness have not been verified for these documents. Incorporation does not establish those arrangements. References below to purchases, billing, payment providers or paid-product access describe information handling that may apply if those services are launched; they do not represent live LMI payment processing. Any future seller, payment provider and applicable purchase terms will be identified before payment is authorized. This policy does not replace offering-specific terms or notices presented when information is collected.

1. Information we collect

1. Information we collect

Information you provide may include your name, email address, telephone number, business or organization, professional role, inquiry details, communication preferences and information submitted through buyer, seller, operator, lender, partner or referral pathways. Applications may include acquisition goals, business experience, geographic preferences, readiness information and other details relevant to the service requested. Submit only information you are authorized to provide. Do not send account passwords, full payment-card details, government identification numbers or confidential third-party records through a general inquiry unless a specifically authorized secure process requires them.

If education purchases or account services are launched, information collected through those services may include purchased products, order and transaction references, account identifiers, access entitlements, enrollment information, support requests and learning activity where the applicable platform records it. We may retain consent records, communications and opt-out preferences.

Website and service providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, access times, referring pages, pages requested, security logs and cookie or similar identifiers. The information collected depends on the services and technologies actually enabled.

2. Information from other sources

2. Information from other sources

We may receive information from service providers, authorized referral sources or other parties involved in a request you make. If paid offerings or education-account services are launched, LMI or the seller identified in the applicable offering may receive information from the providers used for those services. We may also receive business or professional information from publicly available sources. We use information from these sources for the purposes described in this policy and subject to applicable law.

3. How we use information

3. How we use information

We use personal information to respond to inquiries; review applications and readiness information; provide available information and respond to requests for resources and services; support website users; communicate about inquiries and service changes; maintain records; detect misuse, fraud and security incidents; comply with legal obligations; and protect our rights and the rights of others.

If paid offerings or customer-account services are launched, the seller identified in the applicable offering or LMI may use information to process and document purchases, administer product access and provide transaction or account support.

Where permitted and consistent with your preferences, we may send educational updates or promotional communications. Marketing SMS requires separate consent as described below. We may use technical or aggregated information to maintain and improve website functionality and understand how services are used. We do not use this policy to promise financing, an acquisition, profitability or any particular educational or business outcome.

4. Inquiries, applications and confidential information

4. Inquiries, applications and confidential information

Information submitted through inquiry or application forms is used to evaluate and respond to the relevant request and administer the applicable customer pathway. Providing information does not itself establish a brokerage, agency, lending, legal, accounting or other professional relationship.

Seller records, buyer information and opportunity-specific materials may require additional confidentiality restrictions and authorized disclosure procedures. This policy is not permission to publish confidential deal information or release protected materials. Where a request involves another professional or provider, disclosure is limited to what is necessary and authorized for that request.

5. Education purchases, payments and customer accounts

5. Education purchases, payments and customer accounts

LMI’s merchant-account ownership, merchant-of-record identity and live payment-processing readiness have not been verified for these documents. Incorporation does not establish those arrangements. No live LMI payment-processing arrangement is represented by this policy. If paid offerings are launched, the seller and payment processor or checkout provider will be identified before payment is authorized. That provider may collect payment-card or bank information, billing details and transaction information under its privacy notice. The identified seller may receive transaction status, amounts, product identifiers, billing contact information and limited payment references needed to administer the purchase. Do not provide full payment credentials through ordinary website messages.

If account or education services are made available, their providers may process authentication, enrollment and access information. Applicable offering-specific terms and entitlements, rather than this Privacy Policy, determine access. Keep login credentials private and notify us if you suspect account misuse. Any payment plans, refunds, cancellations and access changes require the terms of the specific offering; this policy does not establish those terms.

6. Service providers and other disclosures

6. Service providers and other disclosures

We may disclose information to providers supporting website hosting, forms, customer relationship management, communications, data storage, security and inquiry support, as needed for their functions. Our website uses Framer for presentation, and certain forms and customer pathways use LeadConnector/GoHighLevel services. If payment, authenticated account or education-delivery services are launched, the providers used for those services will be identified at the relevant interface, including before payment is authorized. These providers may also process information under their own applicable terms and privacy notices.

We may disclose information to professional or business contacts when necessary to fulfill a request you authorize; to legal, accounting or other advisers supporting LMI or ROM in their respective roles; when required by law or valid legal process; to protect safety, investigate misuse or enforce rights; or in connection with a merger, restructuring or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable safeguards. Mobile opt-in information is subject to the separate restrictions below.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website and embedded third-party services may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies for functionality, authentication, security and remembering preferences. If analytics or advertising technologies are enabled, they may collect information about interactions and device or browser identifiers. Where consent is required, nonessential technologies are subject to your consent through the applicable controls. This policy alone does not constitute cookie consent.

You can manage cookies through your browser and any consent controls offered on the site. Blocking some technologies may affect login, embedded forms or other functionality. Browser privacy signals and legally recognized opt-out preferences will be handled where applicable law requires.

8. Informational SMS communications

8. Informational SMS communications

If you separately opt in to informational texts, LMI may send messages related to your inquiry, application, appointment, transaction, account, education access or requested service. Informational SMS consent is distinct from promotional SMS consent. Providing a telephone number alone is not intended to authorize promotional texts.

Message frequency varies with your requests and service activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of the applicable SMS program. A confirmation of your opt-out may be sent. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact info@lmilaundry.com. Opting out of texts does not by itself cancel a purchase or account; necessary communications may be delivered through another available channel.

9. Promotional SMS communications

9. Promotional SMS communications

If you separately and expressly opt in to promotional texts, LMI may send educational promotions, product announcements, offers or other marketing messages, including messages using automated technology where disclosed in the consent request. Consent to receive promotional SMS is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. Informational consent does not constitute promotional consent.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of promotional messages and HELP for assistance, or email info@lmilaundry.com. You may withdraw consent at any time.

10. Protection of mobile opt-in information

10. Protection of mobile opt-in information

Mobile information, SMS opt-in data and SMS consent records will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Limited information may be provided to messaging and technical service providers solely to deliver and support LMI communications, administer consent and opt-outs, prevent abuse or meet legal obligations. Such operational disclosure does not authorize those providers to use your mobile opt-in information for their own marketing.

11. Data protection

11. Data protection

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information and services involved to help protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration or disclosure. We restrict access to people and providers with a legitimate operational need. No website, transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe information or an account has been compromised, contact info@lmilaundry.com.

12. Retention

12. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including operating the website, responding to inquiries, maintaining applicable records, documenting consent, resolving disputes, preventing fraud and meeting legal, tax or accounting obligations. If paid offerings or account services are launched, retention of related transaction and account records will depend on their purposes and applicable obligations. Retention depends on the type of information, the relationship involved and applicable requirements; we do not promise a fixed deletion period for every record.

We may retain limited suppression or opt-out records to honor communication preferences. Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove information from restricted backups, and information may be retained where a legal obligation or legitimate documented need applies.

13. Privacy requests and communication choices

13. Privacy requests and communication choices

Contact info@lmilaundry.com to ask about our handling of your personal information, request access or correction, request deletion, or exercise other privacy rights available under applicable law. Depending on your location and the law that applies, rights may also include obtaining a copy, restricting or objecting to processing, withdrawing consent, appealing a decision, or opting out of certain uses or disclosures. These rights are subject to applicable exceptions.

We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request. Do not email sensitive identification documents unless we request an appropriate secure method. Where permitted, an authorized agent may submit a request with evidence of authority. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

Use the unsubscribe mechanism in promotional email, reply STOP to SMS, or contact us to update preferences. Withdrawing marketing consent does not prevent necessary transaction or service communications through an appropriate channel.

14. International processing, children and third-party links

14. International processing, children and third-party links

Service providers may process or store information outside your state or country, where privacy laws may differ. We use safeguards required by applicable law for international transfers.

LMI services are intended for adults evaluating business, ownership, professional or educational matters and are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can address it.

Links, embedded forms, checkout pages and customer portals may be operated by third parties. Their information practices are governed by their own notices. LMI does not control unrelated third-party websites merely because we link to them.

15. Changes to this policy

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in services, information practices or legal requirements. The updated policy will identify its revision date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes. A policy update does not override previously applicable restrictions or authorize a new use requiring consent without that consent.
